Danish designer Louise Campbell and Swedish design personality David Carlson have been appointed to the Greenhouse jury. As before, designer Jens Fager will be responsible for the design of the hall. Many of today’s leading design groups, such as Nendo, Front, Norway Says and BrobergRidderstråle, have made their breakthrough at the Greenhouse, Stockholm Furniture Fair’s hall for independent designers and design colleges. This is where new talents can showcase their prototypes and meet manufacturers from the furniture industry. The prototypes exhibited at the Greenhouse must not be tied to a particular manufacturer, and must not have been exhibited previously. Independent designers and design colleges from anywhere in the world are invited to apply, and a jury will then decide on the final selection.
The final date for applications for the Greenhouse is 22 September 2010. |
