| A competition FIP New Cut: Second-hand Fashion / Till 6.12. |
|
Nowadays the theme of the green revolution and nature protection is becoming more and more popular. This standard of modern lifestyle is followed by millions of people all over the world. We recycle paper, glass and other household articles, but why can't we do the same with clothes not suitable for further wearing? The answer is very simple - start thinking "greener", participate and everything will happen!
A trade centre Domina announces a competition FIP New Cut: Second-hand Fashion for young and talented fashion artists and stylists. Its essence is creation of fashionable, casual, innovative and environmentally friendly clothes by transforming and combining defective and unsold garments of well-known brands.
The competition is based on the “green” idea about the use of recycled clothes, as well as on phenomena of positive life perception and their application in everyday fashion. Such “green lifestyle” is one of the freshest and most modern tendencies of world fashion metropolises and their inhabitants. This is a wonderful opportunity for Latvia to become one of them.
All supporters of the green idea, fashion artists and stylists are invited to create one sketch demonstrating how a casual article of clothing is transformed into an interesting and attractive piece of art and to submit it for the competition by 6 December. The only limit for the flight of fancy is that this garment must be casual and suitable for wearing!
The main prize is 1000 euros. Besides, after the conclusion of the competition and demonstration of the created spring collection at a special fashion show, it will be available at the trade centre Domina for sale. Art, the green revolution and the flight of fancy – it will be a real “FIP new cut”!
