RED DOT AWARD: COMMUNICATION DESIGN

From 2000 onwards, the "red dot award: communication design" replaces the well-known German Prize for Communications Design. The competition, in existence since 1993, ranks according to PAGE magazine among the ten most important international design competitions. In the study,“Corporate identity – status quo 2009, expert survey CI/CD agencies” published by the corporate identity institute, Mainz, Germany, the red dot design award was voted into first place out of all internationally relevant design competitions. Among the works that have received a “red dot: best of the best”, the jury can award a “red dot: grand prix” for an especially outstanding work in each category. The "red dot: junior prize" for the best student work is worth 10,000 euros.
